House Activities and Groups
In addition to the drop-in center and other activities for youth, Lambert House offers discussion and support groups. Feel free to stop in and talk about what's on your mind.
Wednesdays 6-7:30pm: Transgender Group- The Transgender Group is a weekly discussion and support group that gathers in the library, it's a chance for youth to get to talk with others about their experiences and concerns.
Queer Young Females- A discussion/support group that meets weekly in the library on Tuesday nights at 7pm. Topics range from family issues to school happenings to like/lust/love relationships. All queer females welcome. Respect for others' personal experiences and ideas is required, as well as respect for their privacy. Come discuss how smart, strong queer women live their lives.
Thursdays 7-8:30pm: Boys Group- This group meets in the library each week; a volunteer conducts the meeting and youth take the opportunity to talk about issues that relate to their everyday lives.
Mondays 6-7pm: Sex, Dating & Relationships Group- Come talk about the most important relationships in your lives. You choose the topic!
