Volunteering at Lambert House

Staff | Volunteers | Youth

Volunteers make it possible for Lambert House to keep its doors open. We have approximately 75 volunteers whose roles include board members, drop-in center volunteers, cyber center volunteers, discussion group facilitators, activity volunteers, youth volunteers, and meal providers. The purpose of the volunteer program is to provide the delivery of all programs and services at Lambert House.

For information on volunteering, email us.

red dotDrop in center Volunteers supervise the drop-in center and are responsible for providing a safe and supportive place for GLBTQ youth and their allies. You are asked to cover a minimum of one three hour shift per week, and commit to a year of volunteering. The minimum age to be a drop-center volunteer is 24. There is a required three day training that is offered three times per year. Please e-mail the Volunteer Program Manager to find out the dates of the next volunteer training.
