May Highlights:

  • Pink Prom: 90s Bop! An LGBTQ-youth Prom planned by LGBTQ+ youth on Saturday, May 3 from 7-11pm at All Pilgrims in Capitol Hill. Join us for a fun 90s-themed Pink Prom for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-22. Suggested donation $10-25, no one turned away for lack of funds. No alcohol, no drugs, no hate. For more information, visit our website: https://www.lamberthouse.org/pink-prom-90s-bop/

  • Discord Server: Lambert House has made the decision to discontinue its Discord server after Thursday, May 8 to focus attention and resources on our many other programs including our in-person drop-in center, online and hybrid groups, geographically distributed in-person groups, youth leadership programs, and special events. We did not anticipate continuing to offer the Discord server after returning to 5-days per week of in-person drop-in programming, which was achieved in the fall of 2023. Over 5 years, our Discord has operated for 1,175 program days helping hundreds of LGBTQ+ youth find social connection, supportive adults, and community resources, especially during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Memorial Day Weekend: Lambert House will be closed Sat., May 24-Mon., May 26 for Memorial Day; our 4th Monday programs have been rescheduled to the 3rd Monday (May 19) this month to accommodate the holiday weekend.

  • Skateboarding Workshop: Join us for a skateboarding workshop for LGBTQ+ youth from 11am-1pm on Saturday, May 31! Email onlinegroups@lamberthouse.org for more information and to sign up.

  • Youth Pride Save the Date: Lambert House youth are planning a Renaissance-themed LGBTQ+ youth Pride Party on Saturday, June 21 from 7pm-Midnight. Lambert House will have additional Youth Pride programming on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. Visit our website for more details: https://www.lamberthouse.org/pride-party-renaissance
