July Highlights:

  • NEW Karaoke Night on Tuesdays at 7pm through July 28th.

  • Lambert House closed for Independence Day Weekend: July 3-5

  • Auburn Group: July 3rd group rescheduled to July 10th due to Independence Day.

  • Art Group Field Trip to Pottery Northwest: Free clay hand building workshop, July 8th 5-8pm. This is in place of Arts & Crafts Group on July 8th. Email brandon@lamberthouse.org to register. Liability release form required.

  • Movie Night July 16th – Join us for a special screening of Heightened Scrutiny: Fearless civil rights lawyer Chase Strangio battles at the Supreme Court for transgender adolescents’ access to gender-affirming healthcare, confronting not only the legal system but also a media landscape that distorts public perception and threatens the struggle for trans rights. With the dangerous SCOTUS decision upholding the ban on life-saving healthcare, HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY is an urgent call to action against bigotry and injustice.

  • Remembering and Resisting: World premier exhibit at the Holocaust Center for Humanity. LGBTQ+ History from Nazi Germany to Today, a traveling exhibit. Free event, July 26th 1-4pm. Email brandon@lamberthouse.org to register.

August Highlights:

  • Drop-in Center Closed for Facility Move August 3-7 and 24-28: After two years of renovations, Lambert House is moving back to its owned facility at 1818 15th Ave, Seattle, WA 98102. The Drop-In Center will be closed for most of August due to the move, and our annual Summer Break. Youth who want to help pack at our temporary Saint Mark’s space; or unpack and set up our newly renovated space should email brandon@lamberthouse.org about volunteering. Our first day back open in our newly renovated space will be Monday, August 31st – come celebrate with us!

  • Summer Break: Lambert House will be on Summer Break from Saturday, August 8 to Sunday, August 23 and most staff will be on vacation during this time. The Drop-in Center will be closed, but our King Count Satellite Groups will still meet.

  • Trans Group: Trans group will meet online only on August 3 and August 24.

  • Dungeons & Dragons Group: Our monthly D&D Group with Wizards of the Coast will be an Ask-a-Wizard workshop this month. You may ask questions about DMing, rules, character creation, world building, what it’s like working in games, and more. Email brandon@lamberthouse.org for the Zoom link if you are not already on the invite list for the monthly group.

  • Trans Group on Mondays from 7-8:30pm

    • Offered hybrid, in-person at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center, and online via Zoom.

  • Dungeons & Dragons One-Shot Campaigns: Mostly occurring on 4th Mondays at 5pm on Zoom with employees from Wizards of the Coast, the creators of D&D. Occasional date exceptions and in-person games indicated below. In-person games take place at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center.

    • Apr 27 - Online Workshop/Ask-a-Wizard

  • Ultra Violet Group on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm (for women-identified and women-aligned youth, including trans, asexual, non-binary youth)

    • Offered on Zoom.

  • Art Group: Starting in March, group will meet every Wednesday from 7-8pm

    • The group will meet in-person at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center.

  • Boys Who Like Boys Group on Thursdays from 7-9pm

    • Offered hybrid, in-person at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center, and online via Zoom.

  • 10-14 Year Old Group on Saturdays from 3-4:30pm

  • Saturday Night Lambert Live! all LGBTQ+ youth group once per month on Saturday from 7-8:30pm

    • Offered on Zoom.

  • Monthly King County Groups offered at King County Libraries:

    • Woodinville Group on the 1st Wednesday from 4-5:30

    • Renton Group on the 1st Thursday from 4:30-6

    • Auburn Group on the 1st Friday from 4:30-6

    • Queer Book Club on the 2nd Tuesday from 4-5:30 on Zoom

    • White Center Group on the 2nd Thursday from 4:30-6

    • Covington Group on the 3rd Thursday from 4:30-6

    • Federal Way Group on the 4th Monday from 4:30-6

Lambert House remains dedicated to what LGBTQ+ youth ask for the most: social connection! We now offer both in-person and online programming to meet the needs of a wide range of youth.
