September Highlights:

  • Lambert House closed for Independence Day Weekend: September 5-7

  • Drop-In Center Re-Opened: After two years of renovation, Lambert House has moved back to and re-opened its permanent LGBTQ+ youth Drop-In Center. The house is located at 1818 15th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122 right on the METRO 10 bus line, and just a few blocks from many other busses, and Light Rail. The space is open Monday through Friday 4-9:30pm (closed for all Federal Holidays). The renovation expanded our dining room and kitchen, added a new clothing bank, a new youth art space, a new board game lounge, a wheelchair lift, and two ADA bathrooms (four all new bathrooms in total), along with many other improvements.   • Duwamish River Kayak and Clean Up: Learn to kayak and help with beach cleanup on the Duwamish River. Lambert House is partnering with RAPP on this event. Saturday, September 19th from 10am-1pm. Cost: $15. Email kcgroups@lamberthouse.org for information or to sign up.

  • Group Hiatus: Boys Who Like Boys Group on temporary hiatus & Ultra Violet Young Women’s Group on hiatus until the fall, returning based on interest. Email zulema@lamberthouse.org to express interest in either group.

Daily, Weekly, Bimonthly, and Monthly Groups (all times are in the Pacific Time Zone)

  • Drop-In Center open Monday through Friday 4-9:30pm

    • Board games, puzzles, video games, LGBTQ+ youth lending library, pianos, guitars, air hockey, billiards, clothing bank, hygiene supplies, resource navigation, LGBTQ+ and ally adult role models, art supplies, nail polish

  • Dinner with Divas Monday through Friday 6-7pm

    • A free home-cooked family-style meal for LGBTQ+ youth at the Capitol Hill Drop-In Center. Vegetarian option always offered.

  • Trans Group on Mondays from 7-8:30pm

    • Offered hybrid, in-person at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center and online via Zoom.

  • Dungeons & Dragons One-Shot Campaigns: Mostly occurring on 4th Mondays at 5pm on Zoom with employees from Wizards of the Coast, the creators of D&D. Occasional date exceptions and in-person games indicated below. In-person games take place at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center.

    • Apr 27 - Online Workshop/Ask-a-Wizard

    • May 18 - Online One-Shot Campaign (moved from the 26th to avoid Memorial Day)

  • Art Group: Meets in-person every Wednesday from 7-8pm

    • The group will meet in-person at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center.

  • Boys Who Like Boys Group on hiatus; will be re-launched based on youth interest.

  • 10-14 Year Old Group on Saturdays from 3-4:30pm

  • Saturday Night Lambert Live! all LGBTQ+ youth group on hiatus until this fall.

  • Monthly King County Groups offered at King County Libraries:

    • Woodinville Group on the 1st Wednesday from 4-5:30

    • Renton Group on the 1st Thursday from 4:30-6

    • Auburn Group on the 1st Friday from 4:30-6

    • Queer Book Club on the 2nd Tuesday from 4-5:30 on Zoom

    • White Center Group on the 2nd Thursday from 4:30-6

    • Covington Group on the 3rd Thursday from 4:30-6

    • Skyway Group on the 3rd Thursday from 4:30-6

    • Federal Way Group on the 4th Monday from 4:30-6

    • Duvall Group on the 4th Tuesday from 4:30-6

    • Kenmore Group on the 4th Wednesday from 4:30-6

    • North Bend Group on the 4th Wednesday from 4:30-6

Lambert House remains dedicated to what LGBTQ+ youth ask for the most: social connection! We now offer both in-person and online programming to meet the needs of a wide range of youth.
